To the Editor,
Some republicans are now starting to want a “workable, detailed, well-thought-out plan for bringing our troops home.”
Well I’ll tell you there is no such thing because it all depends on when we win the war against terrorist. You can’t leave there and leave any of the terrorist alive, if you do you’re just giving them the break they need, where they’ll come back and take out a whole city instead of a couple of skyscrapers.
Osama Bin Ladin declared war on the U.S. in 1998, calling for “the murder of any American, anywhere on earth, as the ‘individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it.” In a interview with ABC news he said ”We do not have to differentiate between military or civilian. As far as we are concerned, they are all targets.” On September 11, 2001 over 3,000 Americans were killed in New York City, have you forgotten? Go to www.catawbagop,org/blood.html and watch that.
The troops aren’t even home from Germany, Japan, or Korea yet, and people are already wanting a “detailed” plan to bring our troops home from Iraq, it all depends on when the last terrorist is killed, then you have to wait awhile to be sure he was the last one and is really dead.
Americans want everything over in 30 to 60 minutes, well its over, you lost, now go kill yourself. Oh, you don’t like that idea, well then we’d better win this war, otherwise they’ll be over here cutting your throat. Don’t start wanting our troops home now, wait until they win the war.
