| Honorble Mark Hilton |
Mark has long been an advocate of family values and has worked diligently to see that his community, state, and country never "turns its back" on the values that make it great. Mark believes that when ordinary people get involved in public policy, extraordinary things can happen. Believing that family values were being ignored, Mark became politically active when he joined the Christian Coalition. Mark is the former Chairman of the Catawba County Christian Coalition and former Western Field Director for the NC State Christian Coalition.
Since his first political involvement, Mark has continued to work for family values, lower taxes, and less government. Mark is currently serving his third term in the North Carolina House of Representatives. Mark is member of the Catawba County Republican Men's Forum, former Chairman of the Young Republicans in Catawba County, a former Precinct Chairman for the Catawba County Republican Party, and serves on the Catawba County Republican Executive Committee.
