The Young Republican's Met on Oct 13th at Bennett's Bar-B-Q at the corner of Fairgrove & Hwy 70. There were about ten people who showed up and they all expressed a willingness to get a club going, not as a campaign committee for any particular candidate, but as an alternative to the Men's or Women's Club. Mark Hilton, Ed Readling, and Jenny Lackey were put a nomination committee to select officers, to be voted on at the next meeting, the 2nd Thursday in Nov., and to be installed at the Christmas Brunch on Dec. 3.
